Equity Growth Partners is a middle market private equity and real estate investment firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Grown from a humble packaging distributor, our focus continues to be buying and growing distribution, industrial, and manufacturing enterprises headquartered in the United States or Canada. Alongside businesses, Equity Growth Partners is seeking to purchase industrial spaces in major distribution hubs throughout North America. Having completed nearly fifty transactions over the past twenty years, we are seasoned veterans of the investment process, with expertise in every area of business and real estate ownership and operations.

 

What We're Looking For

Operating Businesses

At Equity Growth Partners, we are seeking deals that fulfill some or most of the following guidelines. In addition, we always seek add-on acquisition opportunities that would fit with our existing portfolio companies.

  • Industries: Industrial, Manufacturing, and Distribution, although we are actively looking to expand into other areas.
  • Revenue: $1 million - $250 million+
  • EBITDA: negative - $50 million+
  • Stages and history: we are interested in businesses at all stages, from startup to mature. 
  • Positions: we prefer complete ownership, but for startups and high-value enterprises, we do consider minority positions.
  • Little or no debt.

Real Estate

Just as with operating businesses, we are very flexible when it comes to real estate:

  • Type: our main type is industrial warehouse, although our holdings and interests include residential and office space.
  • Markets: any primary or secondary market in the United States, Mexico, or Canada. 
  • Class: we purchase buildings of all classes and conditions, so long as they have potential for renovation.
  • Square footage: 10,000 - 1 million+
  • Price per square foot: $0 - $300+
  • We are not interested in land leases or leaseholds.

Hoffmeyer Co., Inc. is a nationwide supplier of belting systems, hydraulic and industrial hose, valves and fittings, gaskets, adhesives and lubricants, and safety products. In addition to supply, Hoffmeyer has a talented service team that can take on any job. Headquarters in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hoffmeyer operates through seven locations in the western United States.

 

Real Estate

Our holdings are geographically diverse, serving the entire continental United States. Using our decades of experience in industrial distribution, we have built a portfolio consisting of only warehouses with easy access, set up for efficiency and success.
